Introduction to Electronics and Electronic Circuits Using Arduino: Students will learn all about electricity and electronic circuits in this practical, hands-on workshop! Students will work with the Arduino microcontroller as they experiment with electronic circuit building using different inputs and outputs. Each student will assemble, wire, program, and test numerous electronic circuits using breadboards, resistors, LEDs, buzzers, switches, capacitors, motors, sensors, and other electronic components. This class includes a session on how to solder – an important skill for any electronics wiz. During the class, the students will be using an electronics kit. If you want to take the kit and completed projects home, there will be a $60 materials fee in addition to the class cost. Class will meet on Thursdays from 1:00 - 2:30 pm on the following dates: January 9, 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 13, 20, 27.
